JNJ Care Staffing

Consultation Booking Terms

These terms explain how consultation bookings are arranged, what happens after a request is received, and the arrangements that apply when a consultation is booked with JNJ Care Staffing.

01

Booking Requests

Consultation requests can be made through the available booking options on the website. Before a booking is accepted, we need enough information to understand what the consultation is about and what you would like to discuss.

A booking request is not treated as confirmed until the requested date and time have been reviewed and confirmation has been sent through our usual communication channels.

At least 3 days’ notice is required. Same-day consultation bookings are not available. Requests received less than 3 days before the requested appointment time may need to be moved to a later available date.

02

Booking Times

Please choose a consultation time that you can attend. Once a suitable time has been reviewed and confirmed, that time will be reserved for the agreed consultation.

Notice required At least 3 calendar days before the requested consultation.
Same-day requests Not available for consultation booking.
Confirmation Sent after the requested date and time have been reviewed.
Time changes Subject to availability and should be requested as early as possible.
03

What the Consultation Covers

The consultation is used to discuss your staffing requirements and the type of temporary support you are looking for. Depending on your enquiry, this may include the type of care role required, staffing numbers, preferred dates, shift times and the expected length of the temporary requirement.

The information discussed during the consultation helps us understand the request and decide what service arrangements may be suitable. A consultation does not by itself guarantee that particular workers or shifts will be available.

  • Temporary staffing requirements
  • Care assistant requirements
  • Care support worker requirements
  • Shift dates and working hours
  • Short-term staffing arrangements
04

Confirmation

We review each consultation request before confirming the appointment. The confirmation will normally include the agreed consultation date, time and any information needed before the consultation takes place.

If the requested time is not available, we may offer another suitable time. No appointment should be considered final until confirmation has been provided.

Please check the confirmation details when they arrive and let us know promptly if anything needs correcting.

05

Payment Arrangements

Payment arrangements are confirmed after the consultation requirements have been reviewed. The amount payable, where applicable, will be based on the consultation or service selected and the arrangements confirmed with the customer.

Where payment is required, customers will receive the relevant payment information and booking arrangements through our official communication channels.

Available payment methods may vary depending on the service arrangement and customer requirements. Payment should only be made using the payment information supplied by JNJ Care Staffing.

A consultation booking is only confirmed once both the appointment arrangements and any required payment arrangements have been confirmed.

06

Delivery Period

Once a consultation has been confirmed, the consultation takes place at the agreed date and time. The initial discussion normally begins at the confirmed appointment time.

Where the consultation includes a follow-up summary or agreed staffing information, this will normally be provided within 2 working days after the consultation, unless a different period has been agreed beforehand.

Booking review Normally within 1 working day after complete booking information is received.
Consultation Delivered at the confirmed appointment date and time.
Follow-up Normally within 2 working days after the consultation where a follow-up is included.
07

Changes to a Booking

If you need to change your consultation time, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to offer another available appointment.

Changes requested less than 3 days before the original consultation may not be possible. If a new time cannot be arranged, the booking may need to be cancelled and a new booking made.

A new appointment is subject to availability and must meet the minimum 3-day booking notice requirement.

08

Cancellation

If you need to cancel a consultation, please contact us as early as possible. This gives us a reasonable opportunity to release the appointment and manage our schedule.

Where a consultation has already been confirmed and payment has been made, any refund or alternative booking arrangement will be handled according to the specific service terms confirmed at the time of booking.

If no separate cancellation arrangement has been provided for the selected consultation, we will review the circumstances and communicate the available options.

09

Late Attendance

Please make sure you are available at the agreed consultation time. If you expect to be late, contact us as soon as possible.

A late start may reduce the time available for the consultation where another appointment follows. If you do not attend and have not contacted us, the appointment may be treated as missed.

Where a missed appointment needs to be rearranged, the new booking must be made at least 3 days in advance and remains subject to availability.

10

Information Provided

Customers are responsible for providing information that is accurate and relevant to the consultation. If important details are missing or unclear, we may need to contact you before the appointment.

For staffing enquiries, useful information may include the number of workers required, relevant shift dates, working hours, required care roles and the expected duration of the staffing requirement.

11

Service Limitations

A consultation is intended to discuss staffing requirements and available service arrangements. It is not a promise that a particular number of workers, individual worker or specific shift will be available.

Any temporary staffing arrangement will depend on the requirements provided, suitable availability and the arrangements agreed between the relevant parties.

We do not accept responsibility for arrangements outside our reasonable control, including changes to information supplied by the customer or circumstances affecting the availability of a requested staffing arrangement.

12

General Disclaimer

Information discussed during a consultation is based on the requirements and information available at the time of the discussion. Customers should consider the information provided alongside their own operational requirements and make their own decisions about staffing arrangements.

JNJ Care Staffing does not guarantee that a consultation will result in a particular staffing arrangement. Any proposed arrangement remains subject to confirmation.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, JNJ Care Staffing is not responsible for loss arising from information that was incomplete, inaccurate or changed after it was provided, or for matters outside the reasonable control of the business.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any responsibility that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

13

Changes to These Terms

These Consultation Booking Terms may be updated when our services, booking arrangements or business processes change.

The current version will be published on this page and will take effect immediately when published, unless a different effective period is stated in the revised terms.
